It's been a while since I posted. I apologize to all my loyal readers. I’ve been very busy with work and everything else. I’m back to posting now though. This time out I’m talking about education.
I’m taking a break from education for a little while. I’m completely spent. Working full-time and taking classes part-time has taken a toll on me and I need a vacation. I’m going to take off one semester and then decide where to go from here.
Salve is looking into Graduate school options for next year. She said she’s going to apply at two local universities and then take it from there. She isn’t sure what she wants to do, but she wants to get the ball rolling so she can apply for financial aid for fall of 2009.
Chloe got into the Pre-school program we were hoping for. It is a grant-funded program at the local elementary school and costs us next to nothing. That will be a huge help for us on many fronts. She is very excited to start going to school and can’t wait to start riding the bus next Monday.
