Salve and I got new cell phones. We couldn't pass up free LG Chocolate phones for both of us (even if my only choice was black). Salve got the light blue one and she really likes the color. I think I would have liked the maroon one, but the deal was buy one and get a black chocolate free. It's not a bad phone or anything, but I would like to have tried the maroon one. Oh well, I can live with a new chocolate for free.
It's a cool phone and I got a Music Essentials kit off eBay so we can load music and images to the phone. With the Vcast software and Bitpim I can pretty much load images, music, ringtones and other stuff on the phone. It has 64MB of music memory built in and 64MB of general memory. That isn't much space for MP3 music, but it also has a MicroSD slot that can take up to a 4GB card (I think). I'm keeping my eyes out for a good sale on MicroSD cards so I can pick a couple up for Salve and I.
My mom and stepdad had Bluetooth wireless headsets that they don't use anymore. They said they didn't like them, so I got one to test out. I tried it today and I think it works fine. I'll try it for a couple more days and see what I think, but I don't see any problems with it yet. I'm going to let Salve try it too and if she likes it I'll get the other one for her. That means we'll have new chocolates with Bluetooth wireless headsets all for free (with new two-year agreement -- there's always a catch, though not with the headsets).
