Been busy

I haven't posted in a while, I know -- I have been really busy. I went to Chicago, IL for training the first week of December. That was a good trip. I got some good food and the training was exactly what I needed. Since returning, I've been playing catch-up at work. I was also trying to finish up my class for the fall semester. I'm pretty sure I got an A in the class. I had an A on all the grades except the final paper (which hadn't been graded yet). Unless I get a really low grade on it (which I shouldn't) I should have an A for the class. I liked the class. It focused on pop culture instead of classic literature. The topics were more interesting and easier to read.

The rush of the holidays is upon us. We spent last weekend with my dad's side of the family and this weekend we'll be at my mom's. The following weekend and Christmas we'll be at the in-laws' place. The week after that we are headed to PA to hang out and celebrate New Year's and the first weekend in January we'll be doing Christmas with my dad's side of the family. Once we come up for air from all that, I'll be starting my next class, linear algebra. I look forward to have the same math instructor as before -- she's good.

This is going to be a different Christmas for me. All the stuff I really want are big ticket items, so I don't know what to ask for from family and friends. People keep asking what I want and I don't know what to tell them. I've been telling them gift cards cause everything is expensive. With enough gift cards to one place I could maybe get one of those big ticket items after Christmas. I've already got a couple Wal-mart/SAMS cards, so maybe that's what I should ask for so I can get a couple hundred dollars worth of gift cards and then buy a big ticket item. I don't know.
